The SAHT Proposal, the First Social Awareness Cryptocurrency dedicated to supporting the Asian Community!
StopAsianHate Token (SAHT) is the first social awareness token dedicated to anti-racism towards the Asian community. We believe that money speaks louder than words. So here it is, we are going to make this cryptocurrency list on all the top exchanges and promote awareness to support victims of racism and hate. This project is run by veterans from the cryptocurrency space. Everyone involve in this project are volunteers. All money raised or made will 100% go towards several lists of non-profit organizations dedicated to our mission. Every transaction will be posted on the blockchain. Please reach out to us if you want to be a volunteer. We will help set up wallets with non-profit so we can make the donation 100% recorded from start to end on a selected public blockchain. The Proposal:
Over the past years, several token projects have started non-profit initiatives hoping to achieve full transparency between donors and charity groups. A couple of reasons why none of these projects survived:
1) Wrong timing — cryptocurrency was not mainstream.
2) Too complex — product was too complex which increased the barrier to entry.
3) Lack of infrastructure — lack of financial infrastructure such as banking, audit, custodian, OTC service made it extremely difficult for parties to work with crypto.
4) Lack of trust — Lack of trust for crypto products, as a medium of exchange, as a potential tool for delivering all the promises that blockchain proposed.
5) Bad actors — Too many bad actors out there with a lack of track of the record, which made it difficult to build relationships.
How SAHT works:
SAHT stands for Stop Asian Hate Token. It stemmed from the #StopAsianHate, which was the name of several anti-Asian-violence rallies that have been held across the United States in 2021 in response to racism against Asian Americans. Fundamentally, SAHT is a social experiment aimed to re-introduce cryptocurrency into non-profit. The following explains how SAHT works:
1) Setting up Temporary Wallets for Non-Profit
SAHT will select a group of non-profit and help set up their temporary cryptocurrency wallet using a JSON file. SAHT’s Medium account will have dedicated posts for each non-profit group with their associated temporary wallet address, which users can send funds to donate and support the associated non-profit group. Since the wallet will be under a JSON file, the non-profit associated with the wallet can claim it whenever they want and move the funds to a hardware wallet. SAHT will reach out to the non-profit groups once there is some form of significant funding in the wallet and will verify that the party receiving it can be accountable for the financing of the non-profit organization.
2) Listing
The SAHT token will initially launch on Balancer with 21,600,000 SAHT (0.48%) and list on Uniswap. The Uniswap pool will have 399,600,000.00 SAHT (8.88%) which would enable trading on the open market.
3) Trading (IMPORTANT)
After listing on Uniswap, anyone can start buying SAHT. It is recommended to get your principal money back if there is profit to be made. When you see feel you have made enough and want to start contributing to different non-profit groups, liquidate the amount you wish to donate and keep the remaining allocation for future donations. If you are speculating for profit, it is not recommended to trade SAHT. There are tons of other tokens out there in the market for speculation. Please respect the SAHT community and the mission of the project.
4) Donating
After making your principal investment back, and you are ready to donate, send your USDC to the wallet linked to the non-profit of your choice. If you wish to be recognized, send an email to StopAsianHateToken@Gmail.com with your transaction record (TXID) and your name. We will share this with the non-profit when they claim their wallet. After the non-profit have claimed their wallet with the donation in it, the team at SAHT will update the email address.
5) Follow-up on the use of funds
The team at SAHT will work with the non-profit to help launch their own Medium or Blog to keep track of how they end up using the funds. We will introduce some practices from the crypto industry that will maintain trust between donors and non-profits organizations. This includes publicly sharing the use of funding with detailed follow-up progress and TXID each time the non-profit withdraws USDC to USD to support their initiatives. The goal is to not only maintain full transparency on-chain but also off-chain so that the SAHT community can continue to support these non-profits organizations.

Why do you need a cryptocurrency?
The founders of the project believe that cryptocurrency is by far the most efficient tool for growth hacking and community development. Many have defined cryptocurrency as a form of religion or philosophy — that is an understatement. It is a misconception that every cryptocurrency must have a fully functional utility within its own blockchain. In reality, many projects have leveraged existing blockchain networks but introduced the invisible utilities from the technology, such as the representation of a philosophy, or a voice, or a movement from a group of people. We have seen this from the success of Dogecoin, and many highly reputable crypto exchanges have listed Dogecoin. For that reason, the founders believe there is space for SAHT to grow. No other technology or medium of exchange can have this effect on a product. This is why the founders of SAHT have launched a token for this initiative.
